Event Details

All Master’s in Public Education Management 2025 graduates and up to 10 guests each are invited to attend. Graduates are asked to confirm their final guest count by July 15, 2025.

The commencement ceremony will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. ET. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m.

Commencement will be live-streamed and recorded. A livestream link will be added to the commencement website in the early summer.

No, but we recommend business casual and wearing comfortable shoes.

A professional photographer will be on site to photograph the commencement and lunch, and we will provide graduates access to the images post-commencement.

Travel & Accommodations

The closest airports to the Yale SOM campus are Tweed Airport in New Haven, and Bradley Airport in Hartford, about a 60-minute drive from downtown New Haven. Guests may also prefer to use JFK or LaGuardia airports in New York City or Newark Airport in Newark, NJ. NYC-area airports are likely to have more frequent and expansive flight options than the CT airports.

There is no visitor parking available at Evans Hall. See Yale Visitor Parking to find nearby lots that are free and open to the public after hours. Parking lots 16V (260 Whitney Avenue) and 41 (221 Whitney Avenue) are the closest to our commencement location. Ticketed parking is also available through Park New Haven.

Accessibility

Accessible seating can be reserved at the commencement ceremony. Families with reserved seating will be seated together in assigned chairs which will be labeled. Students can request accessible seating for their guests when they RSVP by July 15; please specify the number of seats needed and whether anyone in the party will be using a wheelchair.

Yale will not offer complimentary wheelchairs. There will be a few available in the case of a medical emergency. We recommend that individuals who need a wheelchair bring one with them.

ASL interpretation will be provided at the ceremony.
